Mingjia Yang

I’m an undergraduate student majoring in Computer Science and Technology at Xiamen University Malaysia, with a strong passion for artificial intelligence, deep learning, and intelligent systems.

My research focuses on the intersection of large language models (LLMs) and remote sensing, where I’ve been working on Vicuna fine-tuning, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and model evaluation at the Institute of Computing Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences.

I’m proficient in C++, Python, and Java, and have extensive experience in model training, data preprocessing, and distributed systems on Linux environments. I also enjoy compiler design, algorithmic problem solving, and building tools that blend engineering with creativity.

I believe in the value of curiosity, clarity, and craftsmanship — constantly learning, experimenting, and creating technology that truly matters.
